1993’s Fugitive Mumbai attacks Dawood Ibrahim, the mastermind

Dawood Ibrahim, the 1993 Mumbai bombing mastermind, is probably no longer a fugitive. According to well-placed sources who spoke with allcontentnews , he passed away on Sunday in a hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. They said Dawood was discovered to have been poisoned and was taken to the hospital immediately. According to the sources, Dawood most likely passed away in the hospital between 8 and 9 o’clock (IST).

But as of yet, there has been no official confirmation of his passing. Despite Islamabad’s repeated denials, Dawood, one of India’s most wanted terrorists, is rumored to have been living in Pakistan for a number of years.

But according to a report from January of this year, Ibrahim’s nephew informed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) that Dawood continued to reside in Karachi and had remarried.

There was a nationwide outage of internet services in Pakistan on Monday, which confirmed the reports regarding Dawood’s health. However, reports claimed that a PTI rally was the reason for the restrictions.

In a video, Pakistani journalist Arzoo Kazmi claimed that attempts to hide a “major incident” were the reason behind the disruption of Twitter, Google, and YouTube services. She added that Dawood’s condition in the hospital was critical.

Under his leadership, ‘D Company’, an international terrorist network, killed over 250 people and injured thousands more in 1993 bombings in Mumbai.

The National Investigating Agency (NIA) claims that the syndicate engages in extortion, money laundering, drug trafficking, and arms smuggling. Dawood has a $25 million bounty on his head after being labeled a “global terrorist” by the UN and India.

The Ascent Of Dawood Ibrahim From Dongri, Mumbai

Dawood’s life has generated a lot of interest because of his rise from Mumbai’s underbelly to becoming the country’s most powerful organized crime figure in the 1990s. As a result, multiple movies about India’s most feared gangster, including Shootout at Lokhandwala and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, have been made.

But Dawood, an aspirational man, quickly confronted Mastan and began murdering his gang members. In 1984, Dawood was forced to flee to Dubai due to the widespread violence caused by gang rivalry in Mumbai.

In 1993, approximately 250 people were killed when 13 bombs rocked Mumbai, a year after activists from the Vishva Hindu Parishad and affiliated groups destroyed the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.
